Good Driver. Hits straight. Distance about equal to my Callaway driver. This Honma driver is very high build quality. Adjustment method is different from other adjustable drivers, but with the instructions and Honma tool it works well once you understand how it works.

I was hitting a cobra zl encore, was at simulator with both clubs and averaged 251 with along drive of 272 with cobra, averaged 222 with along drive of 247 with honma. I am going to adjust honma and work with it, and hopefully get it dialed in, I put a larger grip on it, maybe that will help

Love this driver. Ball really jumps off the Club face. And it looks great too! The regular shaft has more flex than the typical regular shaft. Had been using a senior flex on my old driver and was worried about moving back to regular. Fits me perfectly.

Took a chance on this underrated driver and couldn't be happier! It's the most forgiving driver that I have ever played and the distance is right up there with the major brands. I was a bit concerned after reading some reviews that the shaft is on the "whippy side". My swing speed with driver is 102 and some of the new shafts out there are just too stiff (IMO) and don't bend enough which was leading to pushed and lower drives for me. This Vizard shaft is perfect - just enough flex to allow you to load it and release it. The head is draw biased, but not overly so - haven't had any hard hooks - mostly high, straight shots. Great looking head cover as well. Got it for a steal at just under 200.00!

The most accurate driver I have ever had in my hands.!!! And an extra 10 yards on average from the tee.

Used for one round so far. When hit correctly great ball flight, feels and has a softer feel. I have had to move the ball back in my stance a little to get the benefit of the club. I've been using a Taylormade R7 forever, I hit the Honma about the same distance, a little straighter as of now. I'm sure more will be revealed

Owned about every brand of drive in the past. With the setting slightly closed this thing is amazing. Seriously hard to miss a fairway. This this is rediculous straight. Super happy with driver.

So far so good. Was able to hit it good right out of the box. Haven't had to adjust it yet. Seems a little tricky.

Tried the club on the driving range. Very pleased with it and am sure it will improve my game. Anxious to try it on the course.

The Honma XP 1 Driver that I just recently purchased from Rock Bottom Golf is the best Driver I owned. The information that Rock Bottom Golf gives on this club is the truest. Just replaced my Cobra F8 driver with this one. Feels good, sounds good and is very high quality.

I’ve only used the club on two outings. I like it but it will take some time to get acquainted to it. Need to play it more to really judge.

I find that i drive the ball 10-20 yards longer with this club over my old one,

I waited 5 months before rating my XP-1 driver to fully evaluate it. Quite simply it fits my game well providing good ball flight and more fairways hit. I’m a senior golfer with drives around 200 yards (140 carry 7 iron). My recent drivers have been Cobra F9 and Exotics 220, both of which had regular shafts and were unfavorable for me, and a 12* Cleveland Turbo Launcher (senior shaft) which suited me well. However I have found more consistency with my XP-1 high launch. I like it’s regular flex shaft which is probably more flexible than many R shafts. Its now well settled into my bag.

I needed to replace my old Taylormade RBZ driver and tested several at the golf store but didn't like the high prices. So I took a gamble and bought the Honma XP-1 after my research. Wow!! What a great driver! I gained a consistent 20-30 yards with a slight draw right out of the box.. Comes with adjusting wrench if needed.. Very well made and it arrived ahead of schedule. Now I will get fairway wood. Highly recommended

This is a great driver. It added 15 to 20 yards fron my Taylormade and it hits straight. Very high quality construction and nice looking too. Shaft is more flexible than a normal regular shift. 72 year old, 15 hcp.

Fantastic purchase. It has improved my drive with additional 10 to 20 metres. I used to fade my drive but with this club gives me a slight draw. Love it!

Excellent fairway wood if your swing speed has slowed a bit over the years. Honma's quality can't be beat.

i was looking for a lightweight shaft, and this came in at a price lower than just replacing my shaft on my current driver. it has a unique adjustment on the hozel that keeps the spine true, but the adjustment instructions are primarily in Japanese, so I'll need to track down a video on youtube or their website for help with that.

Had a Callaway 10.5 degree driver and because of the reviews thought I would give the 9.5 stiff shaft Homma a go. Love this driver. Had no problem hitting it right out of the box. Loved the sound and the distance improvement. Picked up about 20 yards when I hit it correctly.

I've only tried it at the range and it swings sweet.Most shots were dead straight with an occasional fade where normally I hit a fade with an slice thrown in every once in a while. Can't wait to try it on the course.

I normally hit a fade. I found It extremely easy to draw the ball consistently. My distance increased dramatically over my Taylor Made M1 driver. Found the fairway more consistently. Love this driver.

This driver does the job. Great price and I like the sound it makes. I opted for the stiff shaft based on other reviews and am glad I did.

Out of the wrap, instantly I am hitting at least 20 yards more with this honma driver. Dang, I almost had a hole-in-one on a upsidedown L shape par4 course, hitting almost 300 yards, landing right next to the hole! You gotta try this one out.

Haven't hit it yet because weather's been so blazing hot. The look of it is amazing and looks good at address as well. Grip and shaft look top quality so I guess the only question will be if the stiff shaft is what I needed because of other reviews saying R shaft is a bit whippy.

This driver is easy to hit with good ball flight. Set up with closed setting and eliminates a slice by providing a relatively straight shot.

I just replaced my Taylor Made R580 XD with this club and immediately noticed an increase in distance and ball placement. I will be trying other recently ordered Honma fairway woods soon.

As a senior I've tried just about all of the new drivers on the market and after trying and buying this driver, I've finally found the right fit for me. It is extremely light with a 43 gram shaft and when struck in the center, I've gained about 20 yards from any driver that I've used so far this year. It is also very forgiving on off center hits.

Friendly for high handicappers and forgiving. Lightweight and satisfying sound. Stuff flex may be too loose against American brands. Will be with me for a long time.

Very forgiving- it is light suitable for slow swing speed - much more reliable than my M3 with similar distance. Love it

Only played twice so I have to get used to this driver. Not getting normal distance yet
