Great clubs, purchased for my wife
December 22, 2022
I purchased these for my wife she has a set of Cobra clubs but she wasn't able to strike the ball the way she did with my old Callaway clubs. Once she received these clubs she fell in love with them due to the mallet head with the slight draw offset she is launching them with ease down the fairway. The set we purchased consisted of 4-PW I had them fitted with midsize grips she has a new degree of confidence with these clubs. I highly recommend them for men and women they are truly a great set of clubs.
Pros
  • solid contact, perimeter weighting, and slight draw offset are a joy to use.
Cons
  • Non-existent

Smooth and Easy

After 6 rounds of golf I would say I’m very happy with the E522 iron woods. I did have a few of the HL 4’s so I’m not new to this style of club. I was playing Cleveland CBX irons prior to this purchase. So far I find the E522’s very easy to hit straight and high. I feel these irons are 1/2 to 1 club shorter in distance then my old irons. That may change as I adapt to the swing feel of the E522’s. Another thing I’ve noticed is the feel for short shots, chips, pitches, bump and runs, etc. is different. So a few practice sessions and a few more rounds will fix that. So overall I’m very happy and committed to this style of club. At 66 I just don’t have the pop anymore and the forgiveness and playability of the E522’s is an excellent choice for me.
Pros
  • Playability
  • Straight, Straight, Straight
Cons
  • I bit shorter than my previous irons on most full shots.
  • Not as workable on fades and draws

Love my new clubs

I am turning 65 in a few months and decided to make an equipment change. I decided on the Tour Edge E522 iron woods and went from a stiff to a regular. I have now played with the 3 times and am thrilled with them. Hitting them longer, higher and straighter. I highly recommend this club!

The Tour Edge hot launch E522 in the senior flex combo irons set are great! absolutely no complains! I just started my left -handed journey and being 66 with two knee replacements the senior flex shafts really makes my golf swing manageable! Tour Edge and Rock Bottom Golf has exceeded my expectations!

  • Very forgiving
  • Fantastic looks
  • Great feeling
  • 6 thru nine, PW and a 4 & 5 hybrid make a great combo
