This is such a great looking club. I am replacing a KZG 26* hybrid. It is easy to square up and the ball seems to land softly.

I am working hard on improving my game and this is a great driver for me, it performs well when I do what I am supposed to do. The quality and aesthetics are excellent, including the headcover which is really nicely made (mine shipped with one despite RBG saying it does not). I would not say it is as forgiving as some of the Callaways I tried but it is not hard to play either and seems like a club that will grow with me as I improve, which some of the other clubs I tried did not feel like. It has a decent sweet spot and I can tell when I get a locate the ball well on the face, by the sound it gives. What is kind of neat to me coming from a 20-year old driver is that the balls leave a visible impact mark on the club face that tells me how well I am swinging, and this mark rubs off easily with a towel and some spit without leaving permanent damage. I do not know if this is typical but seems like a nice detail.

I been hitting the Honma TW737 and just purchase the TW 757 D Driver. Took it right out of the box and to the course the next day. No adjustment needed and it performed well, better than I thought. I have played with it five rounds now and this is a keeper. I am thinking of getting the 3 Wood just to help my game. The shipment of the club was quick and no problems. As always, the "Rock" made me smile.

I took the club out of the box and straight to the course, no practice session. Have not missed a shot with it after 5 rounds. Great feel, and performance. Would recommend this 3 wood if you are looking for a new addition.

Distance and accuracy aren't a problem with this club. This should work for anyone.

I'm a big Honma fan. This new driver has additional technology making it lighter but seems to me, to have a firmer shaft.

This club is as good as any on the market. Solid strikes produce high flying shots with acceptable distance.

Great club. Re-shafted with something heavier and with a higher bend point. The 43 gram shaft was too light and bend point too low, ball flight too high with stock shaft for me. Love the alignment system where the shaft stays still, everything moves around the washer and screw. So....once you spine the shaft, you don't have to worry about moving the shaft. Brilliant!

Great Club, the adjustments that allow the shaft to stay in place is a positive. It is a little whippy didn't think it was going to work but after a range session and round I stand corrected. Nice climbing penetrating flight!

Iam a beginner. I purchased 9.5* 43R shaft. It is very easy to swing and contact. I love this driver.

I read reviews before buying saying that this club was for golfers with slower swing speeds. I'm an 8 handicap with a faster swing speed and I absolutely love this driver. The shaft is a bit whippy for a stiff flex, but I'm able to shape my shot each swing. My first round played with it was at Soldier Hollow(Gold Course) and I only missed one fairway and that's because the ball ran through due to a little extra distance.

I had purchased a Taylormade SIM driver with a stiff flex shaft and it was the first club I've ever purchased that I just couldn't seem to hit. A good golfer can hit anything so they say, but I'm not good, so I need something that is easy to hit. I immediately found this driver simpler to hit. The stiff flex isn't overly stiff and the shaft has a nice pop to it when swinging the club. I haven't messed with the loft adjustment because it felt just right directly out of the box. For the price, I'm way more than happy with this purchase!

The driver itself is awesome, but getting it delivered in 2 days was unbelievable! Very satisfied and will be using RBG more in the future.

I have been looking around for drivers for many months and I’ve tried my friends M4 and some of the new carbon faced drivers. I decided to try the Honma driver based on the reviews. The idea of driving the ball well and saving 500+ dollars while doing it appealed to me. I played 9 holes yesterday. I hit every fairway and was driving the ball 30 yards farther. This is a great club. I am very happy, my friends not so much.

Sweet spot hits are long and straight. Even the mishits have a very good distance.

It's early, but I'm loving this club so far. Out of the box, my immediate thought was the R shaft (I'm 60+) was too whippy. But it doesn't swing that way. In 3 rounds, I've hit 29 of 42 fairways and the misses haven't been nearly as disastrous. Funny, seems the game is a lot more fun from the short stuff.

As said in previous reviews the regular shaft is very whippy compared to other regular shafts. That being said my slice is gone & i'm driving 250 yards which is about 15 better than than my Rocketballz driver. My swing speed is 95 mph so I don't know. It is extremely forgiving on off center shots. Great club!

I like it so much I just bought the 9.5 degree version as a backup driver to my 10.5 degree Homna. I have probably gained 10-15 yards over my M4. The stiff shaft is whippy like others have said but at impact it is solid & hits it straight. Some have said the adjustment hosel is difficult but I have found it really easy to figure out. I like these Homna drivers so well I also bought the 3 wood & it has the same long & straight characteristics. You wont go wrong with anything they have out there.

Knowing Honma is a well known golf clubs maker in Japan, as well as their price tag, but this one was exceptional. I’ve been looking to replace my 10-years old square driver, so I would like to give a try even I haven’t even trial out any of their clubs. Got the 10.5* stiff flex gizzard 43, took it to the range for few times, I would say the play is pleasant, driver is lightweight, and control is manageable. Sweet spot hits at 85%. Not too bad for a causal golfer. Bigger club face, Golf Pride grip, easy control, pleasant play time. With this price tag, nothing to complain. RBG described the sale doesn’t include head cover and wrench, but I did receive the head cover in shipment. In terms of the missing wrench, I did contact Honma US and they are so kind to arrange the fulfillment with reasonable cost.

This is the best driver for the money. I had been using a Taylormade M4 for the last 5-6 years. It had lived its life. I had recently purchased the XP-1 3 wood and 5 wood and was impressed. When I went to order the driver, it said no tool would be included and no head cover. They were both included with my order. -BONUS! I had been getting a little bit of a fade with my M4 so when I got the new XP-1 driver, I adjusted it to hit a slight draw. It was so easy to adjust. A YouTube video said to see a fitting specialist, but I found it easy to follow the manual that was included. My first three drives were all draws. I quickly adjusted the driver back to neutral position and haven't looked back. Two rounds of golf later and the ball is going 10 plus yards past where my M4 was going and much straighter. Not just fairways, but the middle of the fairway.

Love this Driver! If you have a nice smooth golf swing this driver will be you’re new best friend. Super forgiving face with a lite shaft helps keep the ball in the fairway with distance. If you swing out you’re shoes on the tee box then this is not you’re club.

purchased the 9.5 degree stiff shaft after reading other reviews about the "whippy" regular shaft driver. Took it to the range and I could not get the club to hit a draw with stock setup. Read the manual about the adjusting the club but decided it was too complicated to try. I have to agree with other reviewers, the slower you swing the club the farther the ball goes. The stiff shaft has minimal flex. Will have to go out to the course to see if the ball travels father than my Callaway Razr. Great deal and now matches with my Homna XP-1 irons.

Have found that my miss hits are going about the same as my good drives so it's very consistent, would recommend to everyone Price is also 2nd to none

I haven't had a chance to hit this on the course, only the range so far, but I have hit it pretty extensively. The head is a great size and, for me, it flies very straight very easily. I got the 9.5* and it has a nice flat flight that really seems to carry. I got the 43 gram shaft and it was too light for me, I was kind of hitting it all over the place even when I really slowed it down. I had a old Miyazaki I threw on and it's been so much more consistent. I seem to have gained some distance, but will only be able to confirm when it has made it's debut, but so far everything about the club has been very positive.

The best driver for high handicap golfers! Easy to hit and make it fly to get more distance.

Excellent deal and service

After a year of looking for a new driver to replace my TM R11 I bought this driver last winter. Spring has finally arrived and I have played two rounds with my new best friend! This driver is incredibly easy to swing, it feels like an extension of my arms. The regular flex is a bit whipy but with a fluid backswing and not rushing the downswing results are straight down the middle and a few extra yards! Loved my R11 but this is the perfect replacement.

I am 73 years old & have played over 4000 rounds of golf. I’ve always been a pretty good player & am currently a 6 handicap. Driving length has never been my strong suit, hitting 180-200. I decided to try the Honma XP-1 from RBG. First of all it just looks like you can blast it. As soon as tried it I hit one 230 yards that flew directly over the 150 marker. This hasn’t stopped. I use Golf Pads to measure my shots & have been averaging 215 & straight the last 6 weeks. Now instead of hitting 5 hybrids for my approach shots I’m hitting 9 irons. Might not be the longest club in the market but I can guarantee you it's by far the most consistent club I've own since I started the game in 1995. Not for fast swingers but average speed or even seniors. The draw biased works wonders just set up square and let the club do the work.

It's a beautiful club, but I need to do some work on the range to dial in the flex on the shaft.

I used to hit 3 wood off the tee every time because I could not hit driver without a major slice. I took a leap and bought this driver and my golf game has totally changed. I now hit 90% of fairways in a round, with my drives being perfectly straight or a slight draw. The other reviews are correct, the regular flex feels almost like a senior flex. My average swing speed is 90 and it still works perfect for me. I have since bought a matching 5 wood and 5 hybrid. I've never broken 90 before, but my first round with the driver and 5 wood I shot a legitimate 84. If on the fence, give this driver a shot before they sell out.
