Every time I purchase a Ray Cook or Etonics brand, I'm fairly disappointed about the quality. I would stay away from these two brands.

Extremely pleased with my new ball retriever. I have had three other retreivers and the top part eventually broke off of all three. Due to a better design, this retriever is less likely to break and has worked out great.

Had a couple of retrievers the were literally 50 years old and had seen better days. Saw this at Rock Bottom and bought 2, one for Michigan and one for Florida. Great price.

Works well. Over the past two outings I have retrieved almost 50 balls! It has more than paid for itself. Image shows the balls I found in water hazards this past weekend.

Overall nothing fancy but it does the job. I hesitate to give this product five stars simply because the product is as advertised and I can't say that I'm overly impressed. At the same time it does what is advertised and for $15 it's definitely worth the price tag. It's not overly compact, so you'll be keeping this with your clubs and not in a pocket. I would definitely recommend if you and in the market and you've got a spot for it in the top of the bag.

This bags slots are roomy and clubs fit nicely. Lite weight helps too!!

Nothing special, just grabs balls from water with ease. Fish the ponds after scrambled for some nice practice balls!

Long extending and functional , I used it to pick up several lost balls in water , (someone else’s lol) filling my shag bag !

The plastic cup is better than I was able to reshape it with a ball and leaving it in the heat. Otherwise it's a mediocre retriever

my first ball retiever

Easy to extend; but be careful not to overtighten. Gently twist left to tighten and right to loosen. It just seems to me it would be easy to overtighten and possibly strip out the mechanism. Other than that, the ball retriever seems like it will do the trick; or, just avoid the water hazards.

This ball retriever has already saved me money on golf balls. Closes up compactly and fits nicely in my bag. Just what I needed.

I love having this when I botch a shot and it goes straight into the hazard. Just pull it out and save a ball, usually pulling an extra two or three.

Haven't had a chance to actually use it yet, but it appears to be of fairly good quality in relation to it's cost.

At 12 feet long I can reach the ball that always seems to be just out of reach.

Everyone needs one in Florida. Just don't hold up play fishing golf balls because it's so easy to pick them up.

Easy to make longer. will be able to get some of the balls she occasionally hits into the water. Will work out very well for all her friends also.

Saved already the cost of the retriever in one outing. Was able to reach and recover a total of 4 Pro V's on the water. Not my ball I only use cheap used balls.

does what its made for

Playing golf on the coat means lots of water. Retriever works as expected and paid for itself the first day with pockets full of pro vs. when fully extended it is very bendable and tough to,use but so far happy with this purchase.

easy to use

With the drought conditions here in CT, the 12' reach is ideal for grabbing all the balls in the mud in the dried up ponds. Light weight and sturdy. Bought 2, 1 for her & 1for me.

This retriever is great where you are trying to retrieve a ball in rocky conditions as you can just press down on the ball or you can get the head under the ball to grab it. RB price is great.

Works as advertised. I only use it when looking for my ball or a playing partners ball. usually find 2-4 balls in progress. shag bag is now full as well as quite a few playable balls that are of a higher quality than I normally buy.
