A great compact marvel!! It fits in my bag and is the most secure retriever I've ever seen. Wished I bought this much sooner. It has paid for itself.

Took me a few tries to figure out how exactly the mechanism for retrieving balls works, but its great once I did figure it out. Can be tough to get balls that aren't on the surface of the soil that you are retrieving it from.

Perfect size to fit in the side pocket of my golf bag. Although compact it has a good extension. I like the spring loaded head!

I had one of these golf ball retrievers in my bag which I used on certain courses that are well known to collect golf balls. However, my wife's golf ball retriever recently broke and she subsequently claimed my unit. There was no doubt in my mind that I would pick this up as a replacement. It is easy to use and the extension provides a lot of flexibility to reach golf balls. Excellent product that essentially pays for itself by retrieving golf balls!

Good length and light weight. Mechanism seems to be fine. Of course since I have this in my bag water has “disappeared”.

I had an inexpensive retriever that I liked. Lost it. This one does not work well when ball is on muddy lake bottom. Just pushes the ball under mud.

Small & compact so it fits in your golf bag side pockets and doesn't take room where your clubs go like most retrievers. Works perfect

This is a heavy retriever. It does fit in the big pocket of my Ping Hoofer, but due to weight, I wouldn't leave in the bag if I am carrying my bag. For this device to work, the ball needs to bend the spring in the middle of the ring to trigger the "grab". This works well if the floor of the water is solid/hard. If the floor is soft however, it is impossible to get the spring to engage. Consider the area you try and retrieve balls most often when choosing this type of device.

Got this as a Christmas present. It works just as advertised and is amazingly simple to use. Just can't wait to use it on the course. Given the winter snowstorms here in Colorado, I find it is very effective in knocking the icicles off my 2nd story gutters!!!

Picked this up early in year when I was still ranging in a new set of irons and may have been hitting water a bit.... It works great and securely grabs the balls. It retracts into a small size that fits in a side pocket on my bag but extends to a very useful length. My local course has a par 5 with a water hazard guarding the green followed by a par 3 that always gets backed up and I've used this retriever more times than I can count while being stuck on that hole.

This is my 2nd I Gotcha Retriever, and I love it! Works fast, sturdy, compact (fits in my bag's side pocket). New design with the locking yellow clip is a BIG plus! Remember to dry it off with your towel before putting it away (hence my need for another one)! Pays for itself quickly... you wont be disappointed.

Though I haven't gotten a chance to use this retriever yet, it looks to be very sturdy and has a long reach. My husband is the type of guy who wouldn't be caught with a retriever in his bag, but from his enthusiasm, I am sure he will be using mine!

This is strong, it's compact, and it's long despite it's compact size. Highly recommend for any Ballhawk.

Expensive, but seems solid. Retracts to very short, easily fitting into bag and is solid when extended. Grabs the ball easily.

Trap mechanism works great on this. Easily scoops balls out of the water. It will eventually pay for itself. Isn't extremely long, but fits well in the side pocket of my golf bag so it doesn't take up a spot where a club could go.

If you are like me consistently hitting balls in the water you need this in your bag. It works well, is long enough to get to any ball you are going to get to and fits in the bag well.

This thing will pick a ball from the water, from the bushes, in between thorny places I wouldn't dare stick my hand into. it works so well, I just started picking up every ball I saw.

I own this and the xl version and can tell you with absolute certainty that you won't be disappointed with this purchase. They're a bit pricey, but they work better than anythin on the market. I keep the xl version for my cart bag and the executive version for my walking bag.
