Great trainer

Have really enjoyed using this while spending so much time indoors. Defiantly points out some flaws with timing of release.

Like using it
April 2, 2019
I am giving 3 stars for now because I have't been able to see if it will translate to actually hitting a golf ball. I feel like I am able to better understand my hands in my swing since I have always had a flipping issue. I will update when I get a chance. It is nice that you can use this thing pretty much anywhere.
Pros
  • Can use anywhere
Cons
  • None yet

Great if you have an early release
November 1, 2018
Works as advertised, but isn't magic. You have to put in the work at the range or inside pretty often to ingrain the feel. Once you get the move down and the impact position correct, you will notice a significant difference in your ball striking. Recommended for early-releasers.
Pros
  • Works as advertised
Cons
  • none

Powerful training tool
August 8, 2018
The first time I tried to use the Impact Snap it was shocking how wrong my form was. The best part is that it gives you immediate feedback on your swing path. I am a slicer and it is helping me straighten out my drive and fairway shots. The free training videos are helpful as well
Pros
  • Immediate feedback. You know right away if you're doing it right. You can also use it indoors without causing any destruction!
Cons
  • The square grip is a little hard to get used to.

Impact Snap
April 22, 2018
Great service from Rockbottom! It will take a while to really get the hang of this learning tool - it helps in terms of position at impact - not sure about the follow through it is teaching!
Pros
  • Used right it will help teach great impact position

Great tool for finding proper wrist position through impact, and learning the lag
April 4, 2018
This is a great swing trainer for beginner through intermediate players like me who slice the ball and have problems getting the correct wrist action before, during and after impact. The device both positions hands/wrists with a fixed guide bar/ball, and gives you the feel for the timing of the uncocking the wrists at impact with an internal sliding weight that you hear sliding down and snapping with the proper swing. It helps with the lag on your downswing by having you maintain the wrist-cock on the start of the downswing until just before impact with the lagged release of the club by uncocking the wrists, and when done properly, causes the internal weight to slide down and snap at the point of impact, but not before, which means you are casting the club, which produces the slice. However, you should still use an impact bag to check for proper club face alignment.
Pros
  • Great for learning proper wrist action through impact, and helps to develop proper lag on the downswing.
Cons
  • More for beginners/intermediate players, not really needed for advanced players. Expensive.

Impact Snap Swing Trainer Is A Permanent Practice & Warm-Up Training Aid
December 12, 2017
For me, Impact Snap does what is advertised.....It lets you know where you're releasing the club and the yellow ball lets you know how to more correctly release the club. It's now a permanent component of my practice and warm-up routines. I highly recommend it for anyone who is releasing the club early.
