Nice Tacky Grip
May 20, 2021
I purchased this split grip for a Ping 44” putter. I installed it myself, but I had to You Tube instructions. You have to line the entire shaft with two sections of tape as the grip won’t slide down on bare metal. After the larger grip is in place, you remove the second piece of tape. Then you put on the small top grip in the usual manner. The Rules of Golf say that there has to be a minimum of 1.5” between the two grips. The grips are very tacky (sticky) to the touch. I use this for side saddle putting.
Pros
- Grips are soft and tacky.
Cons
- The main grip has to have two sections of tape so it can slide down the shaft. One section is temporary and is removed after the main grip is in position.
