These balls have the same feel and spin as other more expensive balls.

I have tried many different types of balls and can’t get comfortable with any of them. I found a MTBX on a local course and immediately felt something different played 7 holes with it. I ran anyway to find another owner. Did research and bought 5 dozen. Last summer. Just re ordered another 5 dozen. Now the group in play with all uses Snell. We buy in bulk and split the cost. Try it you won’t go back.

I am loving this ball so far. The MTB-X has been excellent off the tee for me. For the price it is just as good if not better than the balls priced in the $40 and up range.

I like this ball for the price. Lots of spin on the greens but I also get more spin off the tee then I'd like.

The MTB-X doesn’t disappoint in any phase of the game... unless you’re one of those golfers who like a “soft” ball. Then I guess you’ll be upset. This has got to be the firmest of the tour caliber balls and urethane covered but I love it. Long off the tee, bites hard in the greens but you can control the spin when needed. Great job Dean Snell!!!

I’ve been playing Snell balls for over a year. Great ball plus the advantage of purchasing them from RBG.

I play a lot of golf and I go through a lot of golf balls. Everything I've read or heard about the Snells were confirmed when I played the new MTB-X's. They are not as soft as the MTB Black, but they are long off the driver, and spin a lot with the irons. I didn't notice any more distance with the irons. For just under $27/dz, you can't beat this ball.

Only a couple rounds in winter conditions so can’t give a fair review but right now a very slight edge goes to TP5.

This ball is as long or longer than any other premium ball, i.e. prov1, taylormade, bridgestone, etc...and the best thing is that you can work the ball, and it will back up, check up, etc...the best ball for the money you can buy - no kidding - 10 yds further with significant spin and control around the green. You will not be disappointed!

Great balls for distance and softness around the greens. Gave a friend a Snell ball to try and he made an ace on first par 3 . What more can I say.

This is a very good ball. I'd been playing the original MTB's, and these are just as good. Long off the tee, with good spin with the wedges. You can't beat Snell for the price.

this is the first time that I have played with the new version (black) of the Snell MTB and overall I think they are a high quality ball for the price. Similar feel at least for me to ProV1

Great product

Decided to try this ball after reading all of the good reviews. After playing a few rounds I like the ball every bit as much as the Pro V1 that I normally play. Given the lower cost I expect I will play a lot more of these.
