I am a 5 hdcp and will put them up against any ball on the market. These are some of the best balls out there and once you play them you will go back for more.
Pros
  • Play like the best tour balls out there.
Cons
  • They will some day run out or raise the price.

Spalding SD Tour- surprising ball
December 16, 2023
This is a 3 piece Urethane covered ball that performs more like a higher end ball than it’s price would have you believe. I was impressed with how the ball performed on approach shots, holding the green with less roll-out than I’m accustomed to with a 2 piece ball. I’m a senior with an 80 mph swing speed so consequently don’t spin my green shots, but imagine this ball would spin at higher swing speeds. In fact, if there’s a negative, it may spin a bit too much off the driver for my swing, launching high with an occasional slice. Some of the balls seemed slightly out of round, but after placing them on a spinner & marking the center line, they putted without noticeable wobble. I will continue to use this ball.

Great balls for price

Great performance considering the price. Good Urethane ball. Only caveat, be aware, this ball isn't USGA approved.

Spaulding SD Tout

Best golf ball for the price. I always play a ball with urethane but I don’t like paying 5 bucks a ball. So the price of the SD Tour was right, plus at 85 compression it’s the right ball for my swing speed. It compares to any other 3 piece ball on the market. I’ve been playing them for two weeks now and so far so good.
Pros
  • Low price
  • 3 piece urethane
  • Durable
  • Right compression for my swing
  • Fast delivery from RBG
Cons
  • None that I can think of.

Long!

I found one of these and found it was noticeably longer than the Titlelist Tour Soft and Taylor Made balls I had been playing. I then bought a couple of dozen. I'm hooked. Great all-round performance.

played a couple of rounds with these and they travel well and have pretty good spin. the first shot I hit into a green actually landed about 4' on and spun back off the green. so far very pleased.

Hard to beat at the price

Solid feel and decent spend. I'm not going to claim these balls are as good as a premium ball, but they are a fraction of the price and perform well enough for an average golfer.
Pros
  • Cost
  • Feel
  • Spin
Cons
  • Durability
